This policy explains who is responsible for Bikaze content, how it’s researched and reviewed, and how you can request a correction.

Publisher and accountability

Bikaze is written and published by Ayoub El Grini, a mountain biker and freelance writer based in Prague, Czech Republic. At this stage, Bikaze is a single-editor site: Ayoub researches, writes, tests, and edits every page. If specialist contributors (mechanics, coaches, or other riders) join the site in the future, their names, credentials, and contributions will be disclosed on our Meet Our Experts page.

Our purpose

Bikaze exists to give mountain bikers useful, honest information: trail guides, gear reviews, maintenance walkthroughs, and skills coaching. Every article should answer a real question a rider has, rather than exist purely to rank in search results.

Research, sources, and safety

• Trail guides reflect the conditions and difficulty at the time of writing. Trail access, waymarking, and terrain can change — always check current local conditions and trail-authority guidance before riding somewhere new.
• Gear reviews and maintenance guides are based on hands-on use and research. Manufacturer specifications and best practices change, so always cross-check against the current manufacturer documentation for your specific bike or component.
• Bikaze provides general information and personal opinion, not professional coaching, mechanical certification, or medical advice. Riding involves real physical risk — ride within your ability, wear appropriate protective gear, and consult a qualified professional (bike mechanic, coach, or physician) for anything specific to your body, your bike, or your local trails.

Editorial workflow

1. Plan: define the question a rider actually has and what original value the page should add.
2. Create: research and write the guide, drawing on personal riding/testing experience and reliable sources.
3. Edit: check clarity, accuracy, safety framing, and that links and claims hold up.
4. Publish and maintain: content is revisited when trail conditions, products, or best practices change.

Digital tools and artificial intelligence

Digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, may help with outlining, drafting, or language refinement. Ayoub reviews, fact-checks, and takes responsibility for everything published under the Bikaze name. No tool is presented as an author, a certified mechanic, a coach, or any kind of professional reviewer.

Commercial independence

Bikaze does not currently run advertising, affiliate links, or sponsorships. If that changes, any material relationship will be disclosed clearly and close to the relevant recommendation, and it will never determine a review’s conclusion. Corrections and updates

If you spot an error — a trail detail that’s changed, an outdated spec, a broken link — email info@bikaze.com with the page URL and what needs fixing. Confirmed errors are corrected as promptly as possible.
