Founder & Writer, Bikaze

Ayoub is a mountain biker and freelance writer based in Prague, Czech Republic. He researches, rides, tests, and writes every trail guide, gear review, maintenance walkthrough, and skills article on Bikaze.

He is a rider and writer — not a certified mechanic, coach, or medical professional. For anything specific to your bike, your body, or your local trail conditions, Bikaze points readers toward the appropriate qualified professional rather than standing in for one.

Why Bikaze exists

Mountain biking has a steep learning curve — trail difficulty is hard to judge from a description, gear jargon is dense, and a badly timed repair can end a ride before it starts. Bikaze exists to close that gap: practical, tested, honestly-written guidance from someone who actually rides the trails and tests the gear he writes about.

How content is developed and reviewed

• Trail guides are based on rides Ayoub has personally done or thoroughly researched, and are flagged clearly when based on research rather than a personal ride.
• Gear reviews reflect hands-on use where possible, and are always independent — see our Advertising, Affiliate & Cookie Disclosure for our current (currently sponsorship-free) status.
• Maintenance and skills content is written for general education. Readers should always verify manufacturer specs and, when a repair is beyond their confidence, consult a certified mechanic.

A growing site

Bikaze is currently a one-person project. As it grows, any additional contributors — mechanics, coaches, or other riders — will be introduced here by name, with their credentials and their actual contribution to the site, once that relationship is confirmed. Bikaze doesn’t invent expert reviewers or imply a credential that hasn’t actually been checked.
